This policy was created to give you peace of mind and to allow you to purchase courses with confidence. We believe in our platform and its content, and we want you to feel the same. This policy outlines our 14-day satisfaction guarantee and the conditions under which refunds will be processed.
If you are not completely satisfied with a course you have purchased, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. We want you to feel comfortable exploring new topics and skills, and if a course isn't the right fit for you, we will make it right.
This guarantee applies to most courses on our platform, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
Requesting a refund is a simple and straightforward process:
Log in to your Menyax.co account.
Navigate to your "My Courses" page.
Find the course you wish to refund and select the "Request a Refund" option from the course menu.
Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your request.
Our team will review your request and process it as quickly as possible. You will be notified via email once the refund has been processed.
To ensure fairness for all members of our community—both students and instructors—and to protect against fraud and abuse, we reserve the right to deny refund requests in certain circumstances. This policy helps us protect the hard work of our instructors and maintain the integrity of our learning platform.
A refund request may be denied if:
Significant Course Consumption: A substantial portion of the course content has been consumed or downloaded before the refund request is made. Our goal is to let you determine if a course is a good fit, not to provide free access to entire courses.
Excessive Refunds: A user has a history of requesting an excessive number of refunds. We may suspend accounts that exhibit refund abuse.
Requests Outside the 14-Day Window: Refund requests made more than 14 days after the purchase date are not eligible for a refund.
Instructor-Specific Policies: Some courses, particularly those involving direct instructor interaction, coaching, or downloadable software, may have different refund terms. If an instructor's specific refund policy applies, it will be clearly stated on the course sales page before you make a purchase. If no such policy is mentioned, our standard 14-day guarantee applies.
Account Suspension for Terms Violation: Accounts that have been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions are not eligible for refunds.
Once your refund request is approved, we will process the refund back to your original payment method (e.g., your credit/debit card or mobile money account). Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, as processing times can vary depending on your financial institution.
In some cases, at our discretion, we may offer the refund in the form of platform credit to be used for a future course purchase on Menyax.co.
This refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent. However, all refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of Menyax.co. We will always act in good faith and in accordance with this policy and applicable consumer protection laws in Rwanda.
